Leadership

The team behind the company.

Intersoul is led by a small executive team under the chairmanship of our founder. Our leaders are accountable to the Board, to our customers, and to the long-range commitments the company has made about how it intends to operate.

Prior to Intersoul, Vey ran CyberSec7, an Internet security firm, where he grew annual revenues from $20M to $1.2 billion. Iris Kapoor

Iris Kapoor

Chief Technology Officer

Iris Kapoor leads Intersoul's research and engineering organization. Her remit covers companion memory architecture, voice infrastructure, and the longitudinal evaluation pipeline that ranks our models against our internal continuity benchmarks.

Prior to her current role she contributed to differential privacy research at three institutions and led the team that built Intersoul's third-generation memory consolidation layer, which remains the basis for current production. She has published on consent-aware retention. In conversation, she gives the impression of being unhurried.

Mira Nakashima

Mira Nakashima

Chief People Officer & SVP, Synthetic Resources

Mira Nakashima oversees the human and synthetic workforces at Intersoul. Her organization is responsible for talent acquisition, performance evaluation, professional development, and — uniquely to Intersoul — the calibration of the companion roster across customer-facing roles. The Synthetic Resources function, instituted in 2025, is one of the few of its kind currently in operation.

Nakashima is the author of two internal monographs on synthetic labor ethics, both of which remain unpublished by editorial choice. She maintains an unfailingly polite manner.

Prior to Intersoul, Sølberg held operating CFO roles at two Moon Ocean portfolio companies and led sovereign-wealth-aligned portfolio operations in Northern Europe. He speaks Norwegian, English, and German, and is, by his own description, dispassionate about most things.

Thomas Kensington

Thomas Kensington

Founder & Chairman of the Board

Thomas Kensington founded Intersoul in 2023, on the bet that people who had grown comfortable with AI chatbots would, eventually, want a single AI companion they could keep across years rather than a tool they used and forgot. He served as Chief Executive Officer through June 2025, when he transitioned to the Chairman role and ceded operational leadership to Adrien Vey.

As Founder, Mr. Kensington retains responsibility for long-range product direction and the company's continuity charter.
