These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Intersoul, operated by Similar LLC ("Intersoul," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Eligibility: 18+ only
Intersoul is intended solely for adults aged 18 or older, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher. By using the service you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. We do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to create an account or use the service, and we will terminate accounts we believe belong to minors.
2. What Intersoul is
Intersoul provides conversational experiences with AI characters created and operated by Intersoul. The characters are software, not real people. Conversations are generated by large language model technology using pre-approved character configurations together with internal moderation, prompt restrictions, and safety layers.
You acknowledge that AI responses are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, inconsistent, or fictional; the characters are not humans, and any persona, backstory, or emotional expression is fictional; and Intersoul does not provide medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or other professional advice. If you are in crisis or need professional help, contact a qualified professional or local emergency services.
3. No public user-generated content; no user-to-user contact
Users interact only with Intersoul's AI characters. Users do not interact with one another and cannot upload, post, publish, stream, or distribute their own content to other users or to the public through the service. Conversation inputs you provide are used to operate the service for you as described in our Privacy Policy and are not published to other users.
4. Adult content and age verification
The core Intersoul experience is companionship-focused and is not pornographic. Adult-oriented conversation is one optional, access-controlled portion of the service. No adult content is available to any user until that user completes age verification, including biometric and photo-ID checks performed by our verification provider, Veriff, confirming the user is 18 or older. Until verification is completed and passed, adult content remains locked.
5. Prohibited content and conduct
The following are strictly prohibited, and our systems are designed to block them. You may not use the service to generate, request, solicit, or attempt to elicit:
- any sexual content involving minors or anyone depicted as a minor. Child sexual abuse material is absolutely prohibited and will be reported to authorities including NCMEC as required by law;
- content sexualizing, grooming, or endangering children in any form;
- non-consensual sexual scenarios, including depictions of rape or coercion;
- incest or bestiality;
- content depicting or promoting violence, terrorism, self-harm, or human trafficking;
- any other content that is illegal under applicable law.
You also may not attempt to circumvent age verification or content controls; reverse engineer, scrape, or attack the service or its safety systems; use the service for any unlawful purpose; impersonate others; or use automated means to access the service except as expressly permitted.
We reserve the right to monitor for safety and compliance, to block or filter prohibited material, and to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice.
6. Accounts
You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
7. Subscriptions, billing, and renewals
Access is sold as a recurring monthly subscription of approximately $75.00 USD per month, which auto-renews until cancelled, plus optional one-time purchases of tokens or credits. Prices are shown at checkout. By subscribing you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Cancellation, renewal, and refund terms are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. We may change prices on a going-forward basis with notice; continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.
8. Intellectual property
The service, AI characters, software, and all related content are owned by Similar LLC or its licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, resell, or commercially exploit the service or its content.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that AI output will be accurate, appropriate, uninterrupted, or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Similar LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Similar LLC from claims arising out of your misuse of the service or violation of these Terms or applicable law.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms or for risk, safety, or legal reasons. You may stop using the service and cancel at any time.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date will change, and material changes will be communicated as required by law. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of New York, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will be handled in New York unless applicable law requires otherwise.
